Curated Works

Art that anchors. Without a word.

Original works from Aotearoa New Zealand's most compelling artists — sourced, selected and acquired with purpose. Not decoration. A mirror of the shifts within, a marker of change, a companion through it. Each piece chosen for resonance, never for trend.

You might know this feeling

The room is finished. But nothing in it says anything.

The safe print

Chosen to match the sofa, not to mean anything. It fills the wall and disappears.

The one everyone has

The piece you've seen in ten other homes. Tasteful, forgettable, anonymous.

The trophy

Bought for the name on the label. It impresses guests and says nothing about you.

The blank

The wall you've left empty for years, waiting for something that actually fits.

A finished room isn't the same as a room that means something.

It isn't that you haven't bought art

Decoration fills a wall. A work fills a room.

You've furnished it well. You've chosen with care. And still a space can feel decorated rather than alive — because decoration sits on the surface, and resonance works somewhere below it.

A piece chosen for resonance does something a print never will: it reflects a state back to you, holds a question, and keeps meaning something long after the room is done. It anchors — quietly, every day.

One work, chosen well, becomes the centre a room turns around.

Art not as status

Art not as status. As signal.

How it works

Chosen for resonance, not for the wall it fills.

The conversation
A private consultation to understand the space, the state to be supported, and the role the work is invited to play.
01
The shortlist
A selection is sourced from artist studios, galleries and private collections across the country — drawn to your intent, not a catalogue.
02
The viewing
Private viewings, framing and international logistics arranged on request — so the decision is made in person, not on a screen.
03
The acquisition
The work is acquired once the alignment between piece and intent is clear — accompanied by full provenance documentation.

The amount paid up front is a deposit that initiates the consultation and sourcing process; final cost depends on the selected artwork, framing and logistics. Availability of any specific artist or work is subject to the market at the time of sourcing and is never guaranteed.

The next names, early

Artists are listed to show the calibre and range of work we source. The presence of a name here is not an offer of a specific work; availability is always subject to the market at the time of sourcing.

Honesty, both ways

Who it's for.

Curated Works is for you if…

You're marking a change — a move, a milestone, a new chapter — and want it held in something lasting.
You want resonance over trend, and a process over a checkout.
You'd rather be guided to the right work than scroll a thousand wrong ones.

It isn't for you if…

You want something to match the sofa by Friday.
You're buying purely for the name, or to resell.
You'd rather a fast, off-the-shelf print than a sourced original.

Private consultation & sourcing
$1,000.00Deposit

A deposit toward your consultation and sourcing — not the final cost of the work.

Before you begin

Questions, answered.

Is the $1,000.00 the full price of the artwork?+
No. The amount is a deposit that secures your private consultation and the sourcing process. The final cost depends on the work you choose, plus any framing and logistics — discussed openly before you commit.
How long does sourcing take?+
It varies with intent and availability. After the consultation, a shortlist is typically drawn within a few weeks; the right work is worth waiting for, and we never rush an acquisition to fill a deadline.
Can I see the work before I commit?+
Yes. Private viewings are arranged wherever possible, and framing can be discussed before acquisition. The decision is meant to be made in person, with the work in front of you.
What about framing, shipping and installation?+
Each acquisition can be accompanied by framing, worldwide logistics and, where needed, installation support. Every piece comes with provenance documentation.
What if nothing resonates?+
Then we keep looking, or we stop. The point is the right work, not a sale. We'll be honest with you about fit, and about what the deposit covers, at every step.
