Curated Works
Original works from New Zealand’s most compelling contemporary artists, sourced, selected, and acquired with purpose.
Art is not decoration. It is a mirror, a marker of shifts within, and a companion through change.
HEMĒRA Curated Art Selection offers access to a handpicked collection of original works by New Zealand’s leading and emerging contemporary artists. Each piece is chosen not for trend, but for resonance—for the way it reflects a state, a question, or an evolution.
From abstract compositions exploring tension and release, to meditative landscapes echoing solitude and strength, every artwork carries a presence.
Selections are made from acclaimed names and rising figures, including:
– Max Gimblett, for bold spiritual minimalism
– Shigeyuki Kihara, for layered cultural narratives
– Fiona Pardington, for timeless photographic intensity
– Reuben Paterson, where glitter meets ancestral memory
– As well as discoveries from galleries in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown
This is a deeply personal process. Each acquisition begins with a conversation—about the space to be filled, the state to be supported, and the role art is invited to play.
How It Works
Upon request, the HEMĒRA team initiates a private consultation to understand the collector’s intent. Based on this, a shortlist of works will be sourced from artist studios, galleries, or private collections. Viewing, framing, and international logistics can be arranged if needed.
Art not as status.
But as signal.
A presence that anchors, without speaking a word.
